Veg Spring Rolls – Vegetables Spring Rolls with Homemade Sheets

(For sheets)

  • Maida\All Purpose flour- 1.5 cup
  • oil- 1 tbsp
  • Salt- 1 Tsp
  • Water- to knead a soft dough

(For Stuffing)

  • Oil- 2 tbsp
  • Jeera- 1 tsp
  • Garlic- 8-9 cloves (chopped)
  • Ginger- 1 inch (crushed)
  • Onions- 1 cup (chopped)
  • Cabbage- 1 cup (Grated)
  • Carrots- 1\2 cup (Grated)
  • Beans- 1\2 cup (chopped)
  • Green chillies- 5-6 (chopped)
  • Paneer cubes- 100 gms
  • Salt to Taste
  • Black Pepper Powder- 3 Tsp
  • Soy sauce- 1 tbsp
  • Vinegar- 1 tbsp

Method of preparation:- 

For preparing veg spring rolls, take a bowl and add 1.5 cups of maida to the bowl, one tablespoon of oil, and one tablespoon of salt to it. Now, mix it with the oil thoroughly and add water gradually to knead a soft dough. Now, grease dough with little oil, cover the grease dough for 15-20 minutes. After 20 minutes, roll the grease dough with hands and divide it into equals balls. Take a dough ball, roll it roundly or in a circular motion dust it with some dry maida flour. Now, roll it into a medium size chapati or in a disc shape. Apply some oil over it and place a chapati over it, now place another chapati over it and apply some oil to it, and again place the 4th chapati over it. Dust it with some dry maida flour. Now, roll into a thin disc. Similarly, prepare all veg spring rolls.

Now, take a non-stick pan, transfer the veg rolls to the pan flip and cook both sides and take out(Don’t cook chapati too much). Now, carefully remove sheets, similarly prepare all the sheets. Veg Spring rolls sheets are ready. 

Stuffing Preparation:- 

Take a pan, add some oil and heat. Now, 1 tablespoon of jeera, garlic, ginger and fry it for few minutes. Add some chopped onions and fry it for few seconds. After that, add some chopped cabbage, carrots, beans and green chillies, mix and fry it for few seconds. Now, add some salt and black pepper powder again fry it for few seconds. Now, add 1tablespoon of Soya sauce, 1tablespoon of vinegar cook it for few minutes. Now, add some paneer cutes and again cook it for another few minutes. Stuffing is ready now.

Now, take a bowl, add 2tablespoon of maida. Gradually add some water and make a smooth batter, mix it well. Now, take the veg spring rolls and place the stuffing in the middle of the veg spring rolls on a plate, roll and seal the veg rolls with stuffing in the middle by applying batter on the side of veg spring rolls and fold it. Similarly, do it for all the veg spring rolls. Now, take a pan and add some oil and fry the veg spring rolls for few minutes. Now, the veg spring rolls are ready to serve.
