Summer Cold Desert – Mango Falooda Recipe | Mango Falooda Ice Cream Recipe

 A popular Summer Cold Dessert prepared during mango season as refreshing beverage for scorching heat. it is mainly prepared using basil seeds / Sabja seeds or popularly known was Falooda seeds mixed with Falooda sev and mango pulp.


Ingredients for Sabja seeds:
  • 2 tsp basil seeds / Sabja seeds / Tukmaria seeds
  • 1 cup water
For Falooda sev:
  • ½ cup falooda sev / vermicelli
  • 1 cup water
For Chilled Milk:
  •  cup full cream milk
  • 1 tsp sugar
For Mango Falooda:
  • 4 tbsp mango pieces
  • 2 tsp rose syrup
  • 4 tbsp mango jelly optional
  • ½ cup mango pulp
  • 2 scoop mango ice cream
  • 2 tsp cashews pistachios, almonds – chopped
  • 3 tsp tutti frutti

Procedure for Falooda sev recipe:

  1. Firstly, boil a cup of water.
  2. Then add falooda sev and switch off the flame.
Sabja seeds recipe:
  1. In a small cup, take 2 tsp of Sabja seeds.
  2. Next, add 1 cup of water and keep aside for 30 minutes.
  3. Sabja seeds will swell absorbing water.
Falooda Preparation Recipe:
  1. Firstly, in a tall glass add 2 tbsp of soaked Sabja seeds.
  2. Further add cooked falooda sev and set with the help of spoon.
  3. Also add chopped mango pieces.
  4. Add rose syrup. adding rose syrup is optional, however adds more flavor.
  5. Additionally add jelly of mango flavor and level it up.
  6. Also add mango pulp or mango puree.
  7. Then add chilled milk. add as required.
  8. Now slowly place the mango scoop ice-cream.
  9. And garnish with chopped nuts and tutti frutti.
  10. Finally, serve mango falooda immediately else the ice cream will melt.
